Owning a pet in Nepal comes with a challenge that most western pet owners take for granted — finding reliable, professional care all in one place. Food, accessories, and veterinary services are typically scattered across different providers, with no single trusted destination for pet owners to turn to.
Nepal Pet Service set out to change that.
The Problem
The client operated both a pet product store and a veterinary clinic — a combination that gave them a genuine edge over competitors. But without an online presence, that advantage was invisible. Pet owners in Kathmandu had no way to discover them, browse their products, or learn about their clinic services without already knowing they existed.
Word of mouth only goes so far.
What I Built
I built a combined e-commerce and service website that reflects the two sides of the business. The store covers products for dogs, cats, and accessories — giving pet owners a convenient place to shop online. Alongside it, a dedicated clinic page communicates the veterinary services on offer, establishing trust with pet owners who need professional care, not just products.
Customer accounts, cart, and checkout were all set up through WooCommerce, with a clean store structure organised by animal type so customers can quickly find what their specific pet needs.
The Result
A single digital home that captures both sides of the business — retail and professional care — in a way that neither a plain shop nor a plain clinic website could do alone. Pet owners can now discover Nepal Pet Service through search, browse products, and learn about the clinic before they ever walk through the door.
