Federation of Nepal Books and Stationery Business

Client Federation of Nepal Books and Stationery Business

Nepal’s books and stationery trade is woven into the fabric of the country’s education system — supplying schools, colleges, and institutions from Kathmandu to the furthest provincial districts. The Federation of Nepal Books and Stationery Business (FNBSB) represents that entire industry, from central committee to provincial and district branches spread across all seven provinces.

An organisation operating at that scale needs a digital presence that can hold it all together.

The Problem

FNBSB is a complex, multi-tiered federation with a central committee, provincial committees, and district-level branches each with their own membership and leadership. On top of that, they organise major national events like the Nepal Education and Toy Expo and the South Asia International Book Fair. All of this information — committee structures, membership lists, event announcements, and organisational news — was scattered or inaccessible online.

Members across the country had no central place to find information about their federation, and the public had no visibility into what FNBSB stood for or what it was doing.

What I Built

I built a bilingual institutional website — primarily in Nepali, serving the federation’s membership — that maps the full organisational structure of FNBSB onto a clear, navigable site. Central committee listings, provincial committee rosters, and district branch details are all organised hierarchically so any member can find their relevant body in seconds.

The events section showcases the federation’s major programmes, including the South Asia International Book Fair and the Nepal Education and Toy Expo — giving these events proper visibility and a professional home online.

The Result

A national federation with a website that finally reflects its scale. Members from Koshi Province to Madhesh Province can find their committees, stay informed on events, and connect with their federation — all in Nepali, in a format built for them.
